Bit Project started with a simple problem. Students did not have any way to learn the essential skills they needed to get a tech job, even though they were enrolled in an educational institution that charges thousands of dollars per semester. While there were student organizations, like the Computer Science club or the Cyber Security club, they were either too focused on fostering social relationships, or were too niche and unapproachable.

Faced with this idea, Daniel Kim (founder) talked to a few of his friends from UC Davis to found Bit Project. The idea was simple. We want the ability for someone enrolled in a university program for computer science to get the skills they needed, free of cost, to get a great job at leading tech companies.

We aim to tackle this in three ways:

🏠 Build Technical Communities

🍻Put the "Fun" in Tech

πŸ’žIntegrate with Industry / Academia
